I'm so excited for the new year and what it is to bring! I reflected all about the year and what I'm praying for here in 2018 in another post, but I have nothing but hope, and determination to make this year one of the best ones yet! And what better way to start that off than with my favorite tradition here on the blog...No Makeup Monday!
If you are new here, No Makeup Monday is a time every week that we remind ourselves of the natural beauty we carry and celebrate it to the fullest! The confidence that makeup gives you (especially that contour since I ate entirely too many holiday cookies) is excellent, but to be reliant on it to define our self-worth is a dangerous game. So on Mondays, we live on the wild side and live our truth!
And how cute is this top!? Guys...I went to JCPenney's the day after Christmas and discovered a land I had forgotten about. For the budget conscious (both hands in the air for me), you can find timeless and trendy pieces for so much less than other department stores! This cute, dusty pink top was only $12 on sale, but regularly still only $37.
But my real question to all you trendy ladies who where detailed sleeves (belled, pleated, oversized)...how do you not get them messy when you eat!? I dragged the edges of these sleeves through my plate when grabbing my drink every time!! But for real...this is a problem!
