| I am so grateful the fall season is officially here.

We only have 3 more days until the official beginning of my second favorite season (winter, you are my ride or die forever and always), and I cannot wait! Instagram is buzzing with all things PSL (gross), oversized sweaters and I’ve even seen some over the knee boots from my favorites living in colder climates. Can you believe snow is in the forecast for the northern states this weekend!?

And with the fall season comes the wardrobe transition. And as much as I love the changing Aspens and nighttime temps in the 40s, in many places, the transition is much slower. It’s still 80 degrees into October in the southern half of the US. And there are also those occasions that you are going to a house party and it’s chilly outside, but your friends do not know how to properly cool their house before people arrive so you walk into a furnace of human bodies and breath. For that reason, I’m highlighting the perfect transition season item: the romper.

I’m relatively new to the romper scene and honestly, I only considered them a summer staple. But when I found this mustard, off the shoulder number on the sale rack at Target (one of the best places to find transitional wear), I fell in love. When shooting this look it was almost 90 degrees out so wearing with the cardigan I brought to shoot made me hostile, but I promise it was a perfect match! Also, there is a fall floral trend happening right now, and this fits the bill with ease. I can almost guarantee you will see this romper paired with some cozy fall staples in the coming months.
